The Etihad Stadium is located just 2 miles east of Manchester city centre and is easily accessible by car, train, tram and bus.
By Car
The stadium is well connected to the motorway network.
- From the North: M60 (Junction 23) via the A6010 (Alan Turing Way)
- From the South: M6 → M56 → M60
- From the East: M62 / A628
- From the West: M62

Please note that there are resident parking restrictions surrounding the stadium. We recommend pre-booking official stadium parking where available or using one of Greater Manchester’s Park & Ride sites.
By Tram (Recommended)
The easiest way to reach the venue is by Metrolink.
- Travel to Etihad Campus tram stop.
- The stadium is approximately a 2-minute walk from the stop.
- Direct services operate from Manchester Piccadilly, Manchester Victoria, and across the Greater Manchester Metrolink network. Journey time from Manchester Piccadilly is around 10 minutes.
By Train
Manchester Piccadilly is the city’s main railway station, with direct services from across the UK.
From Piccadilly you can:
- Take the Metrolink directly to Etihad Campus, or
- Walk to the stadium in approximately 30–35 minutes.
Alternatively, travel to Ashburys Station, which is around a 15-minute walk from the stadium.
By Bus
Several Bee Network bus services stop close to the stadium, including:

Regular services operate from Manchester city centre and surrounding areas.
By Taxi
